Lounge to Boardroom

With over 200 nominations and interviewing of nearly 80 women, we were spoilt for choice with the caliber of women being nominated for this book.

Of the 200 nominations less than 5% were self nominations. That sends a very loud message of women who are self effacing, modest and not comfortable tooting their own horn.

Lounge to Boardroom is about bringing these seemingly ‘ordinary’ women together and recognizing that what they are doing is ‘extraordinary’.

To be in the book they had to be ‘making a difference’, ‘be gusty & determined’ and be prepared to ‘take risks’. Yet they still think they are ordinary.

Humble, down to earth women and mothers; the story of this book will inspire you to look beyond the ‘I can’t do that’ to the ‘I am going to do that – I don’t know how yet – but I am going to!’
